The NSVA has formed a Special Committee to determine the name of the 23rd Navy SVA named SMSA Scholarship. I have suggested the name of Past NSVA National Commander, Richard "Fess" Parker, and respectfully request all Seabees to do the same. Submit your suggestion to the National Secretary or any one of the 6 District Commanders. Their names and e-mail address' can be found in the Can-Do.Dick was a great friend to everyone!

Norm and Billy, nice site, found it doing an internet search for NMCB 62. KUDOS on a job Well Done!I served with the Minutemen from Dec. 1980 to July of 1983. Puerto Rico, Diego Garcia and Guam deployments. This was a nice trip down memory lane. The only cruisebook missing was 80-81 to Puerto Rico. Glad I still have mine. Think I recognized some names on here from my era of serving with the Bees. Great bunch of guys.
