Was in 62 from 79 thru 83 Bravo Company. Had a blast in evey place we went. (even if I didnt know it at the time) Paid off as my CE training has kept me working and plan to retire soon. Joined 62 in 1969, & deployed in March, 1970. Some good recollections of the time in Service; would be good for all young persons to participate.Glad this website has been developed...

Served with 62 from Mar 76 to Jan 80, and then again Jan 83 to May 86. Volunteered for the Pier Team and went back to Diego four more times. Retired from Navy Det, Fort Leonard Wood in 97. Truck driver ever since.Submitted by: Don Kernechel

I was with NMCB 62 1986 to April 18, 1988, when I got out. I was in Rota, Spain and Det. Diego Garcia during the Guam deployment. There is also a NMCB 62 group on facebook. I would like to find Bill Martel, Cliff Spruell, Sam House, Davey Burns and anyone else that I was friends with. It's good seeing some old names.Submitted by: mark judge

Great to find this site see a few names I remember like ZuK and Karstens. Was in 62 from 87 to 89. Went to Subic, Guam then on to NMCB 1. Like to say hi to everyone! Sure had a great time! Also looking for info on CM Chris Asper we were all in alpha company at subic and guam. Once again glad to see this site brings back lots of great memories
