Geat site. I was a Bee from Oct 74 to Oct 78 as a CE. I joined 62 after a tour in Morroco. I made the Diego tour
then part of the Guam tour in 78. I was picked for a seabee team but didn't make the tour due to a broken leg. I stay in touch with only two of my budies. EO Kathrens and CE Kheul. Would like to hear from some others.

ANONYMOUS COUPLE MAKES $10,000 PLEDGE.

The following article is from the May 2011 issue of the
"Seebee Quarterly".

The Seabee Foundation recently received a pledge of $10,000 from a couple who wishes to remain anonymous. The donors began their time in the Navy in 1975 at Officer Candidate School in Newport, R.I. The 20-year Navy career that followed included duty with NMCB 62 and a deployment to Guam and later one to Sicily. Leaving active duty in 1994, the couple now lives and works in the Washington, D.C. area.

Do you know who they are?? Put your answer in this guestbook.

My father was CMC Robert Fuller who passed away while on deployment with 62 in Guam in 1983. Thank you for including the cruise books on this site so I could finally see the memorial page to him and some of the last pictures taken of him. I would love to hear from anyone who may have served with him. And may I suggest a memorial page on the site for all members of 62 who are no longer with us?
