Seabees: Good News -Roger Sinnott, former LTJG, saw my request "Looking For" info and emailed me the 2nd page of CDR Jones 27 Sep 1969 Family Gram. He is going to send more requested documents in the near future. Thank you very much LTJG SINNOTT.
I'm still waiting for you others who have "stuff" from deployments that needs preserving and sharing with Minutemen members. How about it? We truly are not getting any younger.

Chuck Harmon was a super-good friend of mine for many years. We met at the East Coast All-Seabee Reunion years ago and when that outfit went kaput I talked him into coming to our Gulfport reunion. He joined our alumni group and for many years was our photographer at the reunion and at our annual meeting. Alumni Members can view his bio in our database. He will truely be missed.Obituary for Charles F. Harmon
Charles F. Harmon, age 71, passed away November 22, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 3, 1946 in Detroit, son of the late Garen and Shirlee Harmon. Chuck, as he was known to family and friends, attended high school in South Lyon where he excelled in basketball, football and baseball. In 1964, upon graduation, Chuck earned a full college scholarship for his athletic accomplishments; however, he opted to enlist in the Navy and serve his country. He completed three tours of duty in Vietnam from 1965 - 1969 with NMCB10, Stats Team 1013 in Danana, Quang Tri and Xuan Loc. Chuck was a proud veteran and a member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America, Seabee Historical Foundation, NMCB10 alumni group, and NMCB 62 alumni group. He will always be remembered as a husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid collector of art and memorabilia, an avid gardener and gifted landscape artist. He will be remembered fondly for his friendliness, quick wit, and ever present sense of humor. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Nicki Workman Harmon; his children: Chris DeLosSantos, Charles (Julie) Harmon, Jessica (Robert) Walker and Kasey (Michael) Cuellar; 10 grandchildren; and his siblings: Jill Haynes, James (Regina) Harmon, Gary Harmon and Sally Fontez. He is also survived by many extended family members and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 26 from 1:00PM-8:00PM at PHILLIPS FUNERAL HOME, 122 W. Lake St., South Lyon. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 27 at 11:00AM at Crossroads Community Church, 28900 Pontiac Trail, South Lyon.
