I was not in the Navy but I made so many great friends. I keep in touch with John Arnold, Johnny Spain, Chris Blesi, Brian Roach, Mike Nasso, Chad Burlinggame, Mark LaValle, Tim Beyer, Kraig Klein and Ron Farley. They were in from @85 until the end. Some of them want to find DK Johnson. He was originally from Atlanta. If anyone knows how to find him please email me. Thanks.

I was in 62 from late 1980 till mid 1985. I've seen a few familiar names here. I finished the Puorto Rico deployment. Then went to Diago Garcia,Det Adak and Det Vieques to finish up.

Time sure does fly. Almost 30 years gone by.
Feel free to drop me a line if you would like

Ths is the first time that I have been in the guestbook since I joined the 62 Alumni. I served with 62 from 1966-1968 in B and D company. As looking through the guestbook I saw a few names that I remembered. After I left 62 and was discharged I reuped and was assigned to NMCB 14 and then With NMCB 24 where we were recalled to the Gulf War. I Retired in 1994. I am now the Commander of Island X-1 Atlanta. would Like to hear From any of my old ship mates from 62.

I was attached to NMCB 62 from February of 1977 to about June of 1979. I started as a MSSR and left the battalion as a MS3. I met the battalion in Diego Garcia and left near the end of homeport after Guam. From there I was stationed as a Winter Over for Operation Deepfreeze. I was part of S-4 Division (Headquarters Company). I worked in either the BOQ or Base Galley in each of the homeports.
