hi to all the crew of 62...i know thats NOT what some call us....yes i am proud to call myself a seabee wife. my husband is bu-2 plante,owen ofter the decom...we were sent to willow grove pa. lost touch with the guys...bounded here and there finally..in 2001 ended up back in gulfport...found ut stumpf,gary....will tell him about this site..plus about six other bees at my husbands work...thanks for this site..we are forgtten

The NMCB 62 reunion last week 25-28 Feb 2010 at Hampton, VA was a huge success. Yes, there were a few glitches, but overall the reunion went well. We had 32 Minutemen sign-in for our annual 1 hour business meeting & photo taking session at 1PM Sat afternoon. Here are the names of those who attended our meeting/photo session: Larry Wheeler, Jack Lee, Joe Grocki, Steve Johnson, Price Richardson, Dave Fruits, Chuck Gatlin, John Brian, Bill Pierce, Tim Bragg, Charlie Dunn, Bill Clough, Frank Cheschi, Malcolm Smith, Ted Dick, Paul DiFebo, Joe Tack, Fred Malone, Ken Ward, Norm Hahn, Karl Brunner, Milt Davis, Jim Mennucci, Bill Heflin, Jimmy Campbell, Jonathan Grohs, Rich Micucci, Lyle Stewart, John Frederick, Jim Thomas, Gerry Napert & Duane Vance. Next year's Feb reunion will be same time, same place. Our next reunion will be in Oct 2010 in Gulfport at the Ramada Inn, Hwy 49 and will be hosted by Island X-1 Gulfport. My father is Capt. Clifford Street USN (ret.), who served with MCB 62 in 66-67 and 68-69. I'm not certain he knows about this site, but I will remedy that. I know he will be happy to see the cruise books online here. His copies of these, which I vaguely recall seeing as a child, were lost in a fire.
