CommentsGreat site! I served with 62 in 1981-1984 on the last Diego Garcia Battalion assinment and only to return on Det Diego when the main body was a Guam. Then to Rosy Roads til I got out in 1984. MAny good men were in 62 and I remember them well. the cruise book section was very memory provoking...Thanks for the great job...

Thanks Norm for your dedicated work for this site. Many, many memories including Deigo Garcia and Guam. Retired as EOC(SCW)with 26.5 years in in 1999. I miss the connection that we as deployed members have. It seems that todays kids just don't have allegiance for a completed job. Marty Florez and Glen Cerat, please contact me, as well as the usual Gulfport crowd.

CommentsI was a fleet sailor who did a tour of duty with NMCB-62 87-89 I was one hell of a good tour of duty. I went to Rota, Guam, and Det Subic. I also decommissioned it. I really enjoyed my time in the Bees'.
