Served with NMCB 62 in Delta Co from 73-75 . Deployed to Guam and Sigonella, Sicily while with the battalion. The guys I met and the friendships I still have are incredible. I think about these men and the times we had and how they changed my life. Looking for a few of them and if anyone has information please email me. I spent four year with 62 and have very good memories of that time. I was given the nickname Heavy be BMC Faulkner because I was 6'2 and weighed 140 pounds with sand in my pockets. I'm still 6'2 but at 250 the nickname is more applicable. I have five children and a grandbaby now and work as an assistant principal at a middle school in Virginia Beach.Submitted by: Jim Gilson
