Served with NMCB 62 in Delta Co from 73-75 . Deployed to Guam and Sigonella, Sicily while with the battalion. The guys I met and the friendships I still have are incredible. I think about these men and the times we had and how they changed my life. Looking for a few of them and if anyone has information please email me. Tom Williams, Jack "Tater" Tate, and Ron "Rocket" Monroe.

I spent four year with 62 and have very good memories of that time. I was given the nickname Heavy be BMC Faulkner because I was 6'2 and weighed 140 pounds with sand in my pockets. I'm still 6'2 but at 250 the nickname is more applicable. I have five children and a grandbaby now and work as an assistant principal at a middle school in Virginia Beach.

I was in NMCB-62 from 73-75. I was a member of Bravo Company. I deployed to Guam and was sent on a detachment at San Miquel Phillipines. Next deployment to Rota Spain I worked as a electrician in the camp shop. Spent alot of time in the galley in Rota repairing those refers cooking grills. I enjoyed the years in 62 and would like to hear from some of the folks I served with.

My father, Steve Pack, served as a Seabee. He did two tours in Nam. I am his firstborn and recently been diagnosed with Tethered spinal cord (related to Agent Orange by VA). I have been fighting VA for two years now and three surgeries later. This will never go away and my spine will deteriorate. Never new anything about this until I ran into a former Vet. Please spread the word if any of this sounds familiar. I know my father was proud to be a Seabee. I am proud to be his daughter! God Bless.

Looking for email addresses for two guys from NMCB 62. Joe Izworski, CM3, 4-69 to 11-70. Carl Marsh, no rank or dates of service available, have no information on him. I sent both of them letters 4-30-08 but neither responded. I hope they are still living. If you know them, pass this on to them. If they are deceased, let me know. Thank you, NMCB 62 Alumni Group Secretary.
