This site is great! I joined 62 in Guam straight out of "A" school in January 87. Went to Nea Makri and was on a WATC Cruise to Freetown, Sierra Lione with "the last of us" when she was decommissioned. We came back with a lot of "Where did everyone go?" type questions.

Searching through the cruise books brought back some good memories.

Great site! I served with 62 in 1981-1984 on the last Diego Garcia Battalion assinment and only to return on Det Diego when the main body was a Guam. Then to Rosy Roads til I got out in 1984. MAny good men were in 62 and I remember them well. the cruise book section was very memory provoking...Thanks for the great job...

Hello All!
Thanks Norm for your dedicated work for this site. Many, many memories including Deigo Garcia and Guam. Retired as EOC(SCW)with 26.5 years in in 1999. I miss the connection that we as deployed members have. It seems that todays kids just don't have allegiance for a completed job. Marty Florez and Glen Cerat, please contact me, as well as the usual Gulfport crowd.
