Great site! I served with 62 in 1981-1984 on the last Diego Garcia Battalion assinment and only to return on Det Diego when the main body was a Guam. Then to Rosy Roads til I got out in 1984. MAny good men were in 62 and I remember them well. the cruise book section was very memory provoking...Thanks for the great job...Submitted by: Chett Winchell

Hello All!Thanks Norm for your dedicated work for this site. Many, many memories including Deigo Garcia and Guam. Retired as EOC(SCW)with 26.5 years in in 1999. I miss the connection that we as deployed members have. It seems that todays kids just don't have allegiance for a completed job. Marty Florez and Glen Cerat, please contact me, as well as the usual Gulfport crowd.

This site is great! I joined 62 in Guam straight out of "A" school in January 87. Went to Nea Makri and was on a WATC Cruise to Freetown, Sierra Lione with "the last of us" when she was decommissioned. We came back with a lot of "Where did everyone go?" type questions.Searching through the cruise books brought back some good memories.
