I served with NMBC-62 from March 1988 to July 1989 when we decommissioned her. I was the flag bearer at the decommissioning ceremony. Would love to get in touch with other Seabees who served during that time. NMCB-62 was my first duty station after YN "A" school where I was assigned to S-1.Submitted by: carl marsh

CM2...I was USNR and caught up with MCB 62 in August '69, but was held in Gulfport due to Camille. April to November '70 in DaNang - Hill 55. Mechanic - heavy shop...still looking for the guy who ran 5 quarts of oil, in one hour, through a self propelled vibrating roller right after I rebuild the engine! Damn EOs or could it have been my excellent oil ring installation? Now retired from 37-year business career, enjoying the grandchildren...where did the time go?Submitted by: Joe Thornburgh
