Looking for shipmates LT (Dentist) Dan Harrigan, CM3 John "Boot" Winger, MR3 Bob Workman and CMCN Bernie Miller. If anyone can send me their email or address it is appreciated. However, if deceased, that would be helpful to know also.

Great times, fond memories, and I can finally laugh at some of the situations we got ourselves into.

Hi fellow NMCB 62 Viet Nam vetrens. I see recent posts from a couple of guys I served with in H - Company during 1968-69. Ray McDonald and Dennis Doherty, glad you're doing well! I remember Ray re-enlisted in country and his bonus ended up with his father buying a new car for him!

I was an SK3 In H Company in Dong Ha at Camp Barnes. I worked at the MLO yard on the hill issuing lumber supplies for various projects. We also hosted the Sunday barbecues up on the hill (steak, chicken and ice cream courtesy of the army). We were competing with the mess hall! My enlistment was up in May of 1970 and I left Gulfport in my blue Opel GT for California to complete my BS degree.

I retired from the mortgage business in 2008. When we're not home in Lake Forest, my wife of 17 years and I travel around the country in our 5th wheel trailer.

I'd like to hear from some of you who served with me.

Went to Gulfport out of DK A School in Newport, RI
in Jan 69. Went to Dong Ha in March 69 and and came back in Nov 69 and transferred to the USS Cascade AD16 out of Newport. MCB62 was the greatest with a great bunch of guys. Believe it or not I really enjoyed that short time with everyone in H Co. and am damn glad that I had a chance to serve with that great outfit. I retired out of the VA 41/2 years ago and now am a Dept. Supervisor of Paint at Home Depot in Auburn, NY.
I have been married for almost 26 years and my wife Marie and I have a daughter 24 yr. old. Look forward to hearing from anyone that I served with
and keep this website going strong.

SK3 In H Co Dong Ha Camp Barnes and 1970 Camp Hoover and Camp Haskins south. Great bunch of men and everyone did their job. We all bitched and moaned but that was our right as a Seabee. After leaving the Battalion I was assigned to a Sub Tender. I can tell you from first hand experience that NOBODY can top the SEABEES for getting the job done. In hindsight I wish I had never left the Battalion . God bless you all. > Hello John Damron
