Hi to NMCB 62 alumni, I have the unpleasent task of informing all of you that UT1 Paul Farrell passed away at the Bulixi Hospital late in the afternoon of October 4, 2012.I had the pleasure of serving with Paul when he was attached to NMCB 58. I saw action in Viet Nam with paul in 1969 when we were members of a land mine sweep team along the Cam Lo river.
I am very proud to call Paul one of my few friends, I will miss him.
EO2 Jerry Crane

Hey all,I was part of NMCB 62 from 77 -79 and deployed to Diego Garcia working at the Reindeer Inn and then the new galley. During homeport in Gulfport assigned to the Galley and then deployed to Camp Covington on Guam. The next homeport I was assigned to the BOQ Mess and transferred to Operation Deep Freeze Winter Over 80 right before the Rota Deployment. Got to the Battalion as a MSSA and left as an MS3. Awesome tour of duty.Had made alot of great friends in the battalion hope your all well.

concerned about our Brothers who have been affected by "Sandy" and would suggest we use the Guestbook as a way of assuring that they are alright, and possibly as a means to identify any needs they may have....I know when my house burned down the local vets were here within hours offering their support, and it was greatly appreciated.
