I left 62 as an EO2. I served from 83-86. I retired in 02 as an EO1. I had some great times while part of NMCB 62.

My first post in this guestbook was in 2009, page 42.
MCB 62 had our own rock band in Viet Nam, named Glory, which I was a member of along with Tom Sarpolus (guitar), Don Kernechel (drums), Bill Montoya (guitar), and myself on (Bass).
I have been looking for my bandmates for the last 4 years, and I'm pleased to let you know I have located Tom and Don, but I have had no success in finding Bill Montoya. The three of us still play music and have discussed playing at a 62 reunion, if we can find Bill! William Montoya Jr. was in A co. during our deployment to Da Nang. Please contact me if you have ANY information that would help us to lacate him.

I was with MCB-62 at DaNang and Dong Ha from 1967 to the end of 1968. I was a Yeoman 3rd with Bravo Company and with Operations. I was friends with John Rivera, Dennis Fink and Frank Disantis. The CO at Dong Ha was John Paul Jones, Jr.
